Teneriffe Area Overview
About the Suburb
Trendy inner city Teneriffe is a highly desired riverfront suburb located only 2 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD.
Teneriffe offers residents a range of housing styled from studio apartments to multimillion dollar riverfront homes and apartments offering residents proximity to work and lifestyle opportunities. With the development of the historical Woolstores and its village atmosphere, Teneriffe has become one of the most elite suburbs to reside in the Brisbane inner city area.
Being well known for its amazing vistas of tree-lined streets, extensive riverfront boardwalk and public parklands, Teneriffe has grown into a cosmopolitan hub offering retail services and a wealth of lifestyle choices. This includes a variety of restaurants, wine bars, cafes, retail stores, libraries, educational facilities, gyms, medical centres and an array of other necessary conveniences.
Local supermarkets (including Coles and IGA) are only minutes from down the road, as well as the prominent James St precinct which houses many designer retail shops, Palace Cinemas and the extremely popular James Street markets.
With so many options of amenity and convenience, the suburb provides a strong demand for good quality accommodation from both tenants and owner occupiers with public transport options of river ferries and buses at your doorstep. Or if you are feeling more energetic, utilize the extensive pathways and boardwalk via foot or bike.
